Don't really know but Friends paid at least $6 mil just to the cast per episode. They each got a mil apiece per ep.

Got to go with dolfan consider 6 mill and episode, then add the fact they did 20 episodes a year. That was 120 Mill. in just paying the main characters. Not to mention Tom Shelleck, Bruce Willis and others. You know the Producers and everyone else got paid, so I would guess a season would cost near 200 mill for a 30 minute show, break down a to a minute Ten year series. I think we have a winner.

Rome on HBO.
That's the question as HBO launches one of the most expensive series ever made, Rome (Sunday, 9 p.m. ET/PT). The pay-cable network, looking for the next Sopranos as it awaits the 2006 return of the original, is hoping the lavish story of the Roman empire in Caesar's time will be its next buzzworthy hit.
Two more shows are:
Most Expensive TV Mini Series: Band of Brothers, $125 million (£79 million)
Most Expensive TV Program: ER, $13.1 million per show

I believe Without a Trace getting that 3 million + fine for indecency may have pushed it over the edge.
