what other ways can you tell your car is out of line,except tire wear.?

Some shops will not charge much just to put the car on the alignment machine and read out the current alignment settings for you. Then you can decide whether to pay them to correct any settings which are too far out of specification. Obviously you need a shop you can trust and I prefer one that will give me a computer printout of the castor, cam and toe-in etc.

Besides an inability to hold a straight line, or uneven tire wear, the best way is to have a shop perform an alignment check. Front wheel alignment is around forty bucks in most places, and all four wheels should run sixty or so. If you have suspicions, have it checked and play it safe.

It pulls to one side consistently and more drastically at higher speeds.
