Normandy is a lovely area. I stayed near Granville at a camping site called (of all names!) Les Eaux. It was a castille and had a little round stone building with a jacuzzi inside. Normandy has some gorgeous beaches. The villages have great markets. It's not far from Mont San Michel which is worth a visit - France's St Michaels Mount.
