Stick it out the best you can, while looking for another job. Being stressed out is better than being unemployed. Stressed pays the bills, unemployed does not!

On one hand, you shouldn't stay with a job that makes you miserable because it can impact your entire life. That being said, however, unless you have something to fall back on, don't just quit. You don't necessarily have to find a job that pays the same amount you make right now or more if you can live on a lower wage (sometimes the loss of aggravation is worth it) but to just pull stakes and quit isn't smart. Keep your current job but look for other jobs in the area. Take sick leave to go to interviews if you need to. Your only other choice is to move to an area where you can get a job and afford to support yourself. If you're willing to do that, great. If not, keep the job you have and look for something better in the meantime.

Well try finding a job before you quit. That way you do not need to worry about quitting and being left jobless.
That is the best advise I have.
Also leave on a good note. Do not burn bridges you never know when you may have to cross through that way again. I learned that lesson the hard way and it is a very important life lesson.
Plus that way you can get a positive letter of recommendation etc.
Put it in writing and make sure you give at least a full two weeks.
Good luck!

Go ahead and get a resume together, and get it out there. You never know who or what company might need someone like you, that way you can put in two weeks at your current job and move on to something better for yourself.
When you schedule interviews, try to do it AFTER work hours, or if you have to during work, then just tell your supervisor or boss that you have an "appointment." Good luck, and even though the job pool is not big, you never know what you may find out there!

Yes you are correct and I think you know now what happiness is in the employment market. If you’re not happy quit reevaluate. Don’t quit now look and find something that will best satisfy you. Don’t worry about that nasty job. Be encouraged that you’re looking for that new job and that in any day you’re going to get that call that will let you shine and be finally on top. Don’t be scared about finding something else theirs lots of things you can even make up. The best advice would be that you need to hold on to that job and keep looking for something. If you got further questions email me.

okay I have heard many people with this problem, try to find a job that you think you would like and if you get it then put in your two weeks at the job you hate. But make sure that you have something stable under you so you have something to fall back on just incase your new job doesn't work for you either.

Look for a new job while you still have this one. That way you get a job and there is no gap in working.
Any job that really wants to have you there will accomodate your interview schedule and understand that you are still working.

I would suggest you start looking for a job that suits what you want and need to do There is no use in being in a position where you are not happy. It is not healthy for you either.
