I'm so scared!!! Like I know Thats not good but I can't help it I had sex for like 1 hour thats it. and even though I'm 18 my parents are going to flip! I'm not married. he wasn't even my bf. I met him at a bar and the next day waddya know I'm preg. well! the preg. test from home do work!!! Help! Sooth! Please!

well if the test said u was positive well than congrats on gonna be a new mommy. them tests are normaly right and it sounds like u are stressing so relax mommy. all i can say is tell ur mom and dad. uur of age so theres nothing thay can do. thats y ur not suposed to just sleep with anyone or some person ur met in a bar and if ur only 18 how were u in a bar ur suposed to be 21 to go to the bars but less its a bar and grill and than ur still not suposed to be where thay surve beer or what not
dont listen to nina thay make tests to detect it the next day. but there is a chance that u was pregnant before u ever had sex with this dude from the bar

I am not sure if you took a test, but sometimes the test can say no when you are. When I found out I was pregnant I was 2 1/2 months pregnant. I went to planned parenthood and took a test, which said negative. I went back 2 weeks later.....to find out that I was 2 1/2 months prego. Sometimes your body doesn't carry enough of the pregnancy hormone until you are a month or two. Depends on how long ago this happened...but they do have a pill called the morning after. But it only works up to 72 hours and the longer you wait the less chance that it works. You know what your parents may not be ecstatic about it, but they will just have to deal and hopefully be supportive and help you out. Sweat heart don't freak out until you know for sure that you are pregnant. You wouldn't know the day after having sex that you are pregnant there is no way to know that so soon. Go to the doctors or take a test yourself.

A home test cannot detect pregnancy the next day. If the test was positive then you were pregnant before you got with this guy from the bar.

What exactly do you want help with? You are an adult. You had unprotected sex. Did you not expect to get pregnant?
If you are going to have random sex at least use a condom so you don't get some kind of disease.
If you can't take care of the baby, give it up for adoption.

on the plus side, it's entirely possible you're just guilt-stressing yourself into a late/skipped period. my girlfriend got SO stressed while we were in college that she missed her period for 3 straight month, and we hadn't had sex yet, so it's not like she had a miscarriage.
be hopeful, but if you are pregnant, may i suppose adoption? That way you can bless a family who is genuinely interested in a child, and not destroy your young life.

I can't profess to know your parents, but as the parent of teenage girls, I can tell you that I would want to know what's going on so that I could help you work things through.
Your mother especially should be able to tell help you in visiting a doctor to confirm or disprove your suspicions and discuss your alternatives. Believe it or not, she was once a teenage girl with similar situations arising from time to time. Talk to her.
If you really feel she won't be able to help you in any way, talk to another female adult relative whose opinion you trust.
You don't have to go through this alone...and you shouldn't have to.

home pregnancy tests cant detect the early stages of pregnancy(i dont think, im a guy) but if it was unprotected sex than you better be scared because you have a long life ahead of you.

Honey, its not how long you go that determines pregnancy. And if you were pregnant the next day, the pervert you slept with the night before is not the father, it was probably the guy before him.
