I think I started doing this so I could win a prize, but now do not even know if they are giving out prizes. Why is yahoo doing this to us. I admit it is interesting, but really what is the point?

It is important to people who have questions. Like yourself. You are interested to know what is the point, otherwise you would not answer and would do something else instead. Plus you can find a lot of stuff here that will help you in the future. So it is good learning tool!

Why does there have to be a point to it?
Either you enjoy it (ie - knowledge and/or entertainment),
or you don't.
