Will my local pharmacy carry flax seed oil or will I have to go to a specialy store?

Rite Aid and Walgreens carry them- Its not a large selection of brands but u do get to select from at least 2 or 3 brands

Usually from a health food store like GNC or a local chain. Flax seed oil tastes terrible so mix it with something. You can also buy just the seeds and use a coffee grinder and then spread them on cereal or oatmeal.

Most likely, the pharmacy will have it in a soft gel capsule form. If you want the liquid, your best bet is a health food store. They normally keep flax oil in the refrigerated section to preserve the shelf life.

My mom uses flax seed for I think our dogs...I'm not sure, but she gets it pretty easily at a local vitamin store, and I think sometimes she gets it at a pharmacy..you don't need a prescription for it, though, that I am sure of.

I like Trader Joes selection and prices, and they carry the type that doesn't need to be refrigerated, but yeah Pharmacies, health food and upscale progressive grocery stores carry it. Try it in your smoothie!
