I tried using tmobile.com to purchase the ringtones and have them sent to my phone as I can not use t-zones but it did not work. Any other options? I want a song as my ring tone.

Call T-Mobile...you can get the WAP and MMS setting sent to the phone so that you can access T-Zones and get ringtones. T-Mobile has the settings for most cell phone models. You will need to call from another phone so that you can be walked through the installation and set up of the software.

Go to http://www.myphonefiles.com/ and give it a try. It is a website that has thousands of ringtones regardless of your mobile phone company. It costs $5 per month or so, but when you consider that each ringtone from your provider costs $1.49-$1.99 for each ringtone, this can be a bargain if you are into lots of tones.
I download not only songs, but different noises, as well. I downloaded the THX soundbite, the ring of the phones in CTU headquarters on 24 and various rude and funny soundbites from a bunch of different movies.
Your phone has to have internet access, though, to go to the site and download the ringtone. So make sure you have it before you fork over the moulah.
EDIT: If you cannot use the internet, there is one other solution. You can find someone else with a Cingular account who has internet access through their phone. Take the SIM card from their phone and put it into your Cingular phone. With their SIM card in your phone, you should now be able to access the internet by pretending you are them and be able to download Cingular ringtones to your phone. After you have what you want, simply give them back their SIM card and replace it with yours. The ringtones will be in your phone's memory, and you should be able to use them freely. Let me know how it works! :-)

Try www.xingtone.com. It's a one time fee of $20.00 and then you can use any CD or MP3 from your collcetion and take 30 seconds of any song and make it your ringtone. It's a lot cheaper than buying ringtone's per song from the cell phone companies. The program is sorta buggy but I like it a lot.

u went on line from ur desk top right??
well from the desk top you go online and DL the song you want.
DO u have a tmobile account? if u haven't registered online then u cannot DL. so register your phone number online and u should be able to do it.
they will contact u via text message when u complete registration and u can DL ringers.
once u have DL a ringer it will be sent to ur phone via text message!

seek advice from the provider provider you will be switching the telephones to. some are waiting to unfastened up the telephones (for a nominal cost, I presume) at their shops/kiosks. in the event that they do no longer seem to be prepared to or no longer able to accomplish that, you may desire to get an information cable like minded to each telephone (this might probable require 3 separate information cables just to be clean), then seem online for utility which will enable you to unfastened up the telephones. desire that facilitates you out some.
