Well I don't think your sister was wrong. She brought the situation to a decision. You didn't really want it to go on like that did you? If he would've picked you ? Would you have turned him down? Be honest with yourself. Be happy for your friend and move on. There are plenty of cool guys out there. Focus on other things and let it go. Otherwise you'll lose the guy and your best friend.

Your sister should have minded her own business. It sure hurts, but you have a mature attitude not to be mad at your friend. It's not her fault. Sometimes life is hard. It is all fate though, and you may end up meeting a much nicer guy and be available since this one didn't work out. Big hugs to you.

I think for the sake of your friendship you both should of let him go. You sister had no business asking him with out permission from you or your friend. It is one of those things that happen in life to alot of friends. Some people go for the guy and find out he was a jerk for leading you both on ( hint, hint). Have a talk with your friend tell her how you feel and try to move on with your friendship.

This is why you don't like the same person as your friend... and I'm really confused as to who went out with him. Was it your friend or sister? In a few years, this won't even matter. Don't put too much thought into it.

If you did the same thing to your friend and accepted an invitation on a date, would you be wrong? Put yourself in your friend's shoes. Besides, this guy you like is just a guy. Never let a guy get in between a valuable friendship (that's if it is valuable to you).

Well, you have to accept that he likes your friend and not you. As friends, you should be happy for her, even though she ended up with the guy. You can't expect her to give up her happiness for you. As long as nothing else changes, it's okay to feel jealous.

Good question.
1.) I wish your sister left it to you both.
2.) Its disappointing that ur friend didnt respect ur feelings, but its magnanimous on ur part to let go and not make a big fuss abt it.
3.) Avoid him from now on. Sometimes ur girlfriend may thing u are deliberately trying to get his attention by continuing to be his friend. Friends change.

Oh, so if he said yes to you, you would have turned him down for your friend? Somehow I doubt you would have thought of her before yourself. So she liked the guy and went out with him, big deal. Find a new man.
