What motivates you at work?

so I've been reading this book by Ken Blanchard called Whale Done! and in one part he talks about motivation... and it got me to thinking what motivates people to do a good job (or a better job) at work? For me, more money would be great... my job really does
not pay all that well and while I do a good job, I would do a better job for more money... so.. how about ya'll? What motivates you?

money was the original thing that motivated me when i first started working then i just ended up enjoying what i was doing but with all good thing have to come to an end sooner or later a i am finding out now my company that i work for had 40 people working for it but in june the 7th 32 people who were my friend got made redundant and i got kept on sure that was good i stayed but it was sad to see my freinds get laid off but now threre is no security i might have 6day 6weeks or 6mounths work but like i said at the start all good things come to an end sooner or later

Anything which take me a step closer to my aim. I want to be a richest self made person on this planet, so i get motivated very easily with even small success in my business. I got a small telemarketing company for US Mortgages, so even a customer on phone can motivate and once i get motivated i do a lot.

Nothing really motivates me. I don't have an actuall job. I babysit my brothers and sisters, yuck. I guess what motivates me is getting a little spending money.

I am motivated by money. The job I'm working pays pretty good salary plus bonuses, so I looooove it!
