aight, I've been going to my high-school's summer athletes program, and I am feeling rather stiff from lifting, if they're anything I can do besides a heatpad, ibuprofen, and Fosfree to ease the tension and pain?

Poor posture and tension can aggravate the problem so think about the following:

Use good pain relief (regular simple painkillers) and take warm baths to help the pain and relax your muscles.
Treat yourself to a regular massage to reduce tension.
Check your posture - get advice from your local gym, osteopath or yoga teacher.
Check that your furniture is good for your posture.
Take gentle exercise every day - swimming is one of the best options.

Stretching out and toning muscles is particularly important - your gym will show you how. Recent research has shown that you need to hold stretches for at least 15 seconds for maximum effect in relieving tension and increasing flexibility of muscles.

so where is the stiffness? lower back, ice is likely more effective than heat. Gentle traction helps alleviate tension, but you don't give enough information for a really good answer.
