I know this is going to be a controversial question, but more and more I am seeing so many games with dramatic, seemingly impossible come-from-behind wins where the team with the lead just seems to collapse while the team coming from behind looks unbeatable all of a sudden. Don't get me wrong, I love to see a good game with a good ending, But some games seem a little fishy.

I think all of the major sports leagues are involved with rigging. It's odd how a lot of expansion and relocated teams have won championships. (The striking example is the Orlando Magic getting the first pick two years in a row altghough they never won the championship.)

Examples:
NHL: Avalanche (from Quebec), Stars (from Minnesota)
MLB: Marlins (expansion), Diamondbacks (expansion)
NFL: Ravens (from Cleveland), Rams (from Los Angeles)

The notable exception is the NBA which hasn't experienced as much relocating. Only the Grizzlies and Hornets, which doesn't help my statement.

It seems that way because some players get fatigued. Sometimes key players on a leading team gets tired while the key players on the other team are still "in the game", which makes for last second come from behind wins.

You have to remember some of these teams start out fast and just use up all their gas. Other teams stay steady throughout and take advantage of the miscues and mistakes of the tired team. I don't think that most games are rigged. I still say SB XXX(30) was rigged.

Like the Super Bowl? The refs practically used Terrible Towels as penalty flags in that game.

I don't think it's very probable for an NFL game to be rigged. In order to predetermine the outcome of a game, you'd have to be in collusion with way too many people. That is, you couldn't just bride one ref, you'd have to bribe all of them. And even then it would be hard to sway the game one way or another without people noticing.

I've never seen anything to give me that idea. But there are a lot more closer games in today's game because the talent pool is more evenly divided because of free agency.

I doubt it... if it was, what could be the possible motivation? (It has to be $$$ somehow) There's already so much $$$ in the NFL, I don't think risking a scandal would be worth it to anyone.
