As everyone else has said, usually it is two witnesses, and as many guests as the room will hold.

You can have as many people as you want at the wedding. You can only have two people (as witnesses) that will actually sign the register with you.

your saposed to have two witnesses but sometimes in some places they allow you to have only one if you dont have two.
