If he knew what it was he would have told me... but he's puzzled to this day about it...so it would be good if i could tell him some intelligent opinions... especially if its happened to someone else like. What does it mean??? What could it be???

[Conscious<>Subconscious<>Unconsciousness] was my answer to him...'' well since it were night time... and all the studying you do... i'd say you were a bit tired, and you were drifting towards subconscious... and your subconscious was trying to make sense of what you study... and perhaps your subconscious did understand so much so... it tried to tell you it understood by making you see the golden light... knowing that you would investigate this 'golden light'. But i-i assume & take nothing for granted... so i told him i would try to seek a better answer... so i'll leave this question to a vote... then tell him the best answer.

Last but not least., after the second time the golden light experience happened... he did pray to God about it. He said he said... ''God please stop this golden light thing from happening... please... it could attract potential enemies and unecessary danger. He said the only answer he received was... that the golden light thing has not happened again since... so far. He said if it happens to him again though... he will be very inquisitive while it is happening.

It could mean that he is having visual hallucinations brought on by any of a dozen different reasons such as a tumor or such.

Please convince your friend to get a thorough check up and to tell the Doctor about these occurances. If it is a tumor, they may be able to catch it before it spreads.

Visual hallucinations are a VERY serious thing.

Of course, if he was on any illegal drugs or legal medications, that could explain it too.

His belief in the idea that golden light indicated some kind of spiritual awareness may have caused him to experience this. The fact that it was not noticed by others tends to point to a subjective experience, which most spiritual experiences of this nature are.

There are also physiological reasons why he may have experienced this, some of which may include, blood sugar imbalance, reactions to food he had ingested and so on and so forth.

"All that glisters is not gold".

If your friend is a believer in God, maybe he should ask Him what was revealed to him in the rooms. It is always possible for God to show someone something in their minds that no one else can see - vision, ect. I would think that he was dealing with spirits. It is up to him to figure out which spirit it was. He needs to ask God about the situation and test the spirits. May need to becareful of what you get yourself involved in as far as books, movies, ect. Somethings may look harmless but they do carry spirits with them. I think he should pray about his color lighting changing. I am sure God will let him know what is going on. Especially if He had anything to do with it. Men and women of great faith recieve great miracles and prophecies!

Maybe he is tripping. Just kidding. He may be experiencing some kind of spiritual phenomenon. Or he may have a problem with his eyes. I know that brain problems can manifest in a difference in your vision. Id tell him to go to a doctor........just to be safe! I don't discount the spiritual possibility.........but I cannot say for sure. Did he feel anything different at that moment? Id be very interested in knowing. Tell him to see a doctor to be safe!

Ok, first, I believe in God.

But...these are all possibilities....

He made it up.

He's nuts.

The lighting actually did change and other people missed it.

A demon showed up.

Aliens abuducted someone and put them back.

He picked up psychically on the good will in the room.

He saw the spirit of God.

These answers should help to show how broad the spectrum of possibility is....

People see/believe what they want to see/believe. Why associate God with light? That is a bit of a cliche. The chances are if everyone else saw nothing, it was all in your friends head.

he may well be seeing auras. But only those that have been so strong that he has just had his eyes opened.

Just one possibility of many, and I think it is quite pertinent that he was studying what he was at that time. Its not logical yet if he has experinced it, it is a verifyable experience, these things stop happenng when you try and apply logic to them. Just let go and enjoy would be my message to him.

After ruling out all the possible medical problems, one must rely on the person who had the experience for the explaination of what it was, since it was their's.
