It's just little things that he does without thinking that get on my nerves. I know you can't really answer this, but I am kind of just venting. I guess if I am going to whine and complain, I should get a blog, but I'm not. Just because he gets on my nerves doesn't mean I don't love him. Sometimes he just irritates me. Does your significant other irritate you sometimes?

You are not alone. Mine gets on my nerves too, for the same reason (after 38 years of marriage). You are doing the right thing -vent. It will help you calm down.

Sweetie, I know exactly what you are talking about, but I thought it was just me, now I know there are others out there. LOL I think they do things to get on our nerves on purpose cause they know they can. They know it irritates us but I think they do to see us get that way, its like a game to them. I guess its a part of being married. My husband doesn't get on my nerves all the time but sometimes he does and I just got to go outside or take a nap or something. I have learned that if he does something to get on my nerves then I do something back. Good Luck!!

The opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference. Everyone gets irritated by some of the things their loved ones do, and that's normal. What's not normal is if it happens all the time. Try to talk things out with your husband and explain to him why those little things irritate you so much. If he loves you, he will think about you before doing them next time.

Sorry, guys will always be guys. I'm sure you can be as irritating as him. It takes two to tango. Bottom line you have to remember, is he a good man? A good dad? Good provider and make you happy in bed? Most man probably can be worst - beating his wife. drinking all day and womanizing. My wife can get on my nerves with her little quarkes but I usually ignore it and she automatically stop. Most of all, I married her for that and love her very much for it. The more he feel he can twitch that nerves of yours the more he's going pull that shits! So do like I do...blah..balh...blah...blah.... sure honey! Oh that's great honey - I can see our children doing the same thing. That's an adult thing to do. Like little kid, walk away and IGNORE!

Oh yeah!!!! My husband gets on my nerves so bad, I don't even want to look at him or speak to him at times. But, like you said.... that doesn't mean we don't love our husbands.
I guess that's just normal. May be it's supposed to be like that, since we're married?
Anyway, I try not to let him get the best of me. As long as you can work out your differences, it's all good. Just remember, you're not alone and you're not the only one going through this.

I can honestly say I have never met a man that wasn't irritating. Men don't rationalize when it comes to wanting to do something. It's kinda like, "hmm, I wonder what would happen if I did THIS..." and they just do it. They don't think about consequences because they are carefree. Stupid is as stupid does.

It happens all the time, things always irritate the other half ... and vice versa .. and at some times more than other times.

You know you love him so there is no real problem ... maybe talking to him would help?

Yes, he does i think they do it on purpose just to get on your nerves,But what i do is breath and curse him out sometimes depending on how much he got on my nerves or what he did and i feel a little better. It happens we have to learn how to deal with it especially when we love them
