Happened for the first time when I tried to open my mouth too wide to eat a huge sandwich. I have regretted it ever since. It is so distracting to hear the click. Yawn - click, Sing - click, sneeze - click, dentist says say "Aah" ... click! I hate it!!

I used to have tmj, my mouth would crack and eve lock, then a friend of mine put me in a head lock while we were swimming and cracked my jaw,..... havent had it since. ha . dont recommend u do that though.

My hubby's jaw does the same thing. Everytime he yawns it clicks. The first time I saw it I thought he dislocated it! I freaked out! lol

Yes, I have the same thing and it does drive you crazy, But you do get used to it.....I don't think there is anything they can do.....I hate it too, Glad there's someone else that has this problem....Good Luck with the click....

Yep, sounds like YMJ, just make sure you don't chew gum or any really chewy candy. This will make it worse. If it hurts take 4 ibuprohen at once, this will stop inflammation.

My jaw, too! There's a little bone in between the upper and lower jaw and ours is moving.

My jaw used to do that and then one day it just went away. Ask your dentist.
