Absolutely nothing, and for everyone that thinks we need to produce more children look around. Yes there are open areas where people are not living, but there are vast expanses that clean the enviroment, provide the food of the world. The bible said go forth and populate the earth, well its pretty well fully populated. Maybe we should worry about bringing our numbers down and our overall quality of life up. If letting gays marry is one thing that gets us to that goal then lets sign them up. Marriage as an instutuion was largely based on propterty and family relationships, the idea of Romantic love in marriage is from the 17th century.

If a gay couple wants all the legal rights of a heterosexual couple, I think that is fine. Marriage is a religious concept and most religions do not condone people of the same sex marrying.

NOTHING, everyone deserves the right to happiness and marriage in any way shape or form. As far as the bible, it is only an interpretation of what one thinks, that is why there are so many DIFFERENT religions.. If you believe in God you will be OK, no matter who you are and what you do..

Its a sin first. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Secondly, it would cause numerous problems from state to state and with corporation benefits etc. One state may recognize it and another wouldn't. In one state you would be legally married and receive pensions and spousal rights, and in another you wouldn't.

However, all that said, I still go back to my first statement.

What is wrong with being a Christian? I'm a Christian. But its not for me to judge....everyone is responsible for the choices they make in life and will have to answer for those choices when the Judgement Day comes.

Marriage is God's way of uniting a man and a woman. It is for love and reproduction. When people who choose to be homosexuals are together it can't be called marriage. God invented marriage not man.

Nothing...people have nothing better to do with their time!!! They worry about the tiny insignificant factors inthe world when they should be worring about the more important things....the ones that affect others...like hunger, poverty, the environment, global warming...etc..
