hey, my cord that connects my guitar to my amp kinda broke, you know short circeted or whatever. my parents are telling me to find out if there are some better quality ones i can get. I think there all the same but, are there any good brands or whatever? I'm leaving to get a new one today some time soon so i need the answer fast.

Thanks!

Yeah, there are a lot of different kinds. The professional level ones are pretty pricey, around $100. You can get some decent ones at around $20 that last fairly long. You should go to your local guitar store and see what they have. Monster cables are probably the best, but they are the ones that are really expensive. Live Wire cables are good, and more affordable.

There are alot of good cords out there. The braided ones are a little more expensive but they seem to last a hell of alot longer. Also of coarse the longer the cord the more costly it is.
