I commute two hours total to and from work each day.

The gas costs me so much that I rarely go out on the weekends anymore.

I know other people in the same situation so I imagine businesses are feeling the pinch.

yes every restaurant is feeling the gas prices that is how we make our money as servers is when our customers come in and eat but because the gas prices are so high i don't see restaurants getting very much buisness until the prices for gas goes down

Restaurants will have to pay higher shipping fees on products they receive, probably in the form of a fuel surcharge. Then there are many who won't even go out because gas is too high to waste.

Most big r/r lock in prices, so we aren't getting hit by higher transport charges. However, our customers are now spending more $ on gas so have less to spend out. Credit cards also are playing a big role in softer sales. The min payment on c/c debt was 2%, this year it was raised to 4%.

Gas caused my Car towing to go up, All transportation's to go up. My grocery's being delivered to the Store. My heating and cooling bills , so gas going up means every thing goes up .so we get hit several time. It does not increase any ones wages but the Petro Stock Holders.

everything is going up because everything must be transported, and usually by truck. All the ingredients in your food have increased in price.
