Covering someones Else's song is notoriously difficult to do in a authentic way. I think jimmy Hendrix did an amazing version of 'All along the watchtower" which even Bob Dylan, the original artist commented as being far Superior to his own...But it is rare. Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably numb' is an original, and despite Scissors attempt to put a 'contemporary' gloss on it, hasn't really added anything in quality to make a comparison.

Okay...this is just silly the best version is Pink Floyd's...because it's their flipping song to begin with, and how can you improve on a classic...or David Gilmour for that matter?!
Now...Scissors does an okay cover of it...but if we just have to compare covers of Comfortably Numb I think that The Sisters of Mercy's is infinitely better and the best of all of them.

Pink Floyd. I walk, no, in fact I run out of shops when I hear the Scissor Sisters version. I can't believe they allowed them to do it. Rant. Moan. Complain...

PINK FLOYD! who the hell are the scissors? nobody can do a remake and make it sound better than the original. and, rock legends wouldn't remake a floyd song to begin with. you can't improve on something so perfect.
