I'm willing to beat anything that Randy Moss will be this year's NFL MVP! I'm a die hard Randy Moss fan since he was a rookie back in 1998. He scored 17 touchdowns as a rookie with the Vikings! I play Madden all the time with the "Mosster", I just lob it in the air and Moss comes down with it! Anyways, that was a video game as far as real life I know he's going to have a great season. In my book, he's still the best NFL wide receiver in the game today. Now with a new Raiders coach, Randy will have his chance to shine. The old coach didn't want Randy Moss getting the ball that much for reasons I don't know. It's crazy to have your best talent on the team not get the ball. Why not? Don't you want to win? Anyway, this is his year once again!

What in the hell does playing Madden with Randy Moss have to do with him winning the NFL MVP.

By the way, I'll take that bet. Whatever you want. 1st off, you are taking Randy Moss against the field of roughly 1700 NFL players. Also, the last Wide Receiver/"End" to win the league MVP was Don Hutson back in 1942. 1942!!!! That is 64 years ago!! Jerry Rice, Steve Largent, Marvin Harrison, and your beloved Randy Moss have never won a MVP and probably no receiver ever will because their position is inherrent upon a QB throwing them the ball with defenders in the way at all times. A RB just needs to have it handed off, a QB needs to make the plays to ALL of his receivers, a LB needs to make an impressive amount of tackle's and sacks. These 3 positions are uniquely different because it is much easier for them to make the plays then a WR. Even a kicker (Mark Moseley, 1982) has won an MVP more recently then a WR.

As for Moss being the best WR this year, he wasn't a top 15 WR statistically last year and I highly doubt he jumps up to #1. Maybe top 5, but he has Aaron Brooks as his QB.

It is quite obvious you have some sort of man-crush on Randy Moss and chances are, one day, Mr. Moss will be filing a restraining order against you.

I agree that Randy Moss is a great talent but he is a punk and there is no way he will be the MVP. Especially not with Aaron Brooks throwing to him. It is nearly impossible for a receiver to be the MVP in the league. If it wasnt Steve Smith would have been last year.

Hmmm...where to start? First of all your avatar name is questionable but never mind, I suppose that's your business. However, concerning the business of Randy Moss, he is a great football player no doubt but his pompous attitude and poor work ethic make him an unlikely candidate for MVP, especially in such a pathetic program as the Raiders have. He could be great but continues to do things to himself that hold him back. Oh, and as a Broncos fan I feel obliged to say that the Raiders suck.

I like what you say. But in order for him to be the MVP someone needs to throw him the ball. And I know the Raiders do not have a good QB. Sorry Man! A QB or a Running Back will win the MVP.

I would rather sandpaper a bobcat's butt in a telephone booth than bet my life on randy Moss getting the MVP this year.

You have Aaron Brooks @ QB. Mr. Fumbleruski.

Good luck.

Even if Randy Moss played with heart (which he doesn't), there's no way he'd win MVP with Aaron Brooks as his QB

I'll bet you anything. He's gonna get pissed off at Aaron Brooks (who sucks by the way) and stop playing hard about half way through the season. He has so much ability but he's a damn head case. HE WILL NOT WIN THE MVP AWARD!!!

Sorry. Randy has tons of talent, but he won't get MVP on the Raiders.

hate to break it to you, but Randy is on the downward slide of his career. injuries have obviously taken something out of his game. Kerry Collins had a cannon for an arm, so you can't say it was because of the QB he didn't get the ball last year.
