When I shave my pubic hair ,the skin gets dark in the area ??

When I shave my pubic hair using razor, my skin turns dark after a day.....I do moisturize my skin after I shave , but the skin is darker in color in the pubic area.I have a sensitive skin ,Plz suggest...

its just the roots of your hair under your skin...
