I have no racist issues at all. I believe everyone should have a chance to move to America. But we have a system to make the change legally. Illegal immigrants put a burdon on the US government and its support systems that rely on us citizenship numbers for funding programs, when illegals start using the programs, the legal citizens get the short end of the stick when there is not enough money left to help. If people want to move to America, they should be allowed to, legally. Illegal immigrants break federal laws to get here, and are just as much a criminal as the people in jails throughout the country.

No hate is being incurred, there are laws that must be followed. I can't speed in my car that can go 150mph, and if I do I can get jail time. But people, any people come here and break this nation as soon as they arrive. This is not how things are done, nor should be. This is right or not? The thing is, we live and have to pay taxes all the time. If we don't we go to jail, lose or homes and have to fight if there is a war. They just walk in and do what they like. If some one comes in the legal way, very good. If not, work on it!

It's not about being racist. It's about them breaking the law. Why should they be rewarded while millions of others are suffering waiting to get into this country LEGALLY (there is a long waiting period for some legal immigrant categories)?

If breaking the law is OK just because they suffer in their homeland, why don't we abolish all immigration laws and start freely admitting anybody who just wants to relocate here? Imagine your beloved USA being inundated by millions and tens of millions immigrants, and all social system and healthcare will crumple... You and your family will be affected big time, and I would love to see how you are going to view the issue then!

If you think opposing letting people break the law is racist, then you're about as ignorant as they come.

It has nothing to do with anything except breaking the law. If it was about race, then we'd be opposed to ALL immigration. We're only opposed to ILLEGAL immigration. Get it. ILLEGAL.

There is nothing wrong with immigration, no matter what your race. The word we are looking for here is "illegal" can you say illegal boys and girls? As in against the law. There are people who have waited years and years for a chance to come here and contribute to our society. How is this fair to them?

I don't hate non-whites. I hate ILLEGALS. They aren't taking my jobs, but they do use up my tax money getting handouts from our government and requiring extra services in our public schools. Immigration is possilbe. If you want to be an American, fill out forms, wait in lines and speak the language. It is the American way!

I don't hate the illegal immigrants as people... i hate the price it costs me and every other tax payer in this nation. We pay for everything from medical care (my insurance rates go up because the medical community has to make up for those who don't pay - to education (increase in teachers and programs, which results in higher educational taxes) - to the Increase in crime (the county government must house, cloth, guard and feed these illegals) thus resulting in higher County and State taxes! Everything goes up because of these S.O. B's because they won't fight to take their own country back from the criminals that run it. If they come in Legally, I don't care, Illegally, and I'd wrap them in Bubble Wrap, and Catapult them back over the border into their own country.

LOL.. Being an Asian American (born in Seoul, South Korea), I take your comments as being bias and naive on the true issues of illegal immigrants.

It has nothing to do with racism but the sovereignty of our country. These are proven facts:

1) Most jobs that illegal immigrants take are the lowest paying jobs (and not because Americans are not willing to work but Americans can't survive on with the cost of living). Most of the jobs are off the books which decreases the tax revenue for the local town, state, and US. Also, with outsourcing of high paying jobs, US citizens are forced to jobs that are available (including those taken by illegal immigrants). Employers will take an illegal immigrant over an US citizens because the employer do not have pay other benefits. So it is not that they hate illegals but they should not be here in the FIRST PLACE!
2) The lowest score in public education systems seems to reside in areas where there are high residence of illegal immigrants (With illegal immigrants, there are going to be children and families). Being that most illegal immigrants do not contribute more to the revenues (in comparison to expense), most of the money will come from US taxpayers (again, US Citizens).
3) Most illegal citizens do not have health benefits (not from employers obviously) and if they are taken to the emergency room for any health issue (which most do), illegal immigrants do not pay because they do not have the money to pay (let alone are they "trackable" in normal means). So the money is being forked again by US taxpayers.
4) Illegal immigrants are eligible for public tuition assistance for higher education? Food Stamps? Some Americans can't even get that..

Currently, it cost the US more money to provide the essentials to illegal immigrants that otherwise should be provided to US citizens (which are not being provided).

Illegal immigrants are not supposed to be here. It is not that they should not immigrate here but they decided to BREAK THE LAW! I came in the US legally and naturalized as an US citizens. That took more than 10 years to gain naturalization. Why should illegal immigrants gain benefits that some US citizens do not even get let alone those who follow the laws to naturalize. It is not a hating matter but that they DEMAND US CITIZENS BENEFITS TO A COUNTRY THEY ARE NOT CITIZENS.

They do not provide any benefits to the US (average illegal immigrant education is pre-high school) and are more tax burden to give them a chance which Americans citizens are not even given. So to me, I rather take care of my American citizen brothers and sisters than illegals.

Other Concerns:
The US Census measure illegals as part of the US population and skewed Congress reps to states with high illegal. They are not constitutes. They are illegals and why the US Congress would not even address and enforce our laws (to Employers especially). So do not tell me illegals do not hurt America. It does to all the middle class citizens

Some illegal Immigrants try to obtain work has stolen SSN of legal immigrants. How would you like to deal with the IRS on identity thief? It has happened to a friend of mine and he has to clear his credit history (he can't even get a job due to it until it is all cleared out as well as can't get a home). We steal someone else's identity is a felony but illegals, it is not thought the same

Again, in the 1980s, the US gov't provided Amnesty for illegals present. With that precedence, it went from 3 millions to 12-20 millions in 2000s... Tell me that they are not a burden? Think and see the history before calling others racists.
