I watched a program on the history channel but couldn't watch the whole program. I don't know anything about the KKK besides them not liking African-Americans but was wondering why is this so (if it is true).

A few of these groups insist that Jesus wasn't Jewish at all, even though the Bible is very clear on Mary's Jewish roots.

Other groups just take on the age-old hatred of the Jews as "Christ killers" (their term, not mine). Through the centuries some Christians have held the Jews in disdain as those responsible for the death of Jesus... the killers of the Messiah. And there are places in the New Testament that can be intrepretted into this kind of ugliness. For example when Pontius Pilate stands Jesus before a jeering crowd in Jerusalem:

"When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands and said, 'I am innocent of the blood of this Just person. You see to it.' And all the people answered and said, 'His blood be upon us and on our children.'" (Matthew 27:24–25)

Many theologians see this as a collective guilt/sin for all of humankind, not just the Jews. We are all guilty of killing what is Good in life.

But many innocent Jewish lives have been lost through the centuries because of people taking the above as a "confession" of Jewish guilt/responsibility.

The KKK is no different than many hate filled groups calling themselves Christians that have twisted Holy Scriptures into a excuse for persecuting and harassaing others. They look beyond Jesus' heritage (stripping him of an important part of who he was on Earth) and only see him as the Messiah killed by the Jews.

I think I watched the same program!! They hate Jews and African-Americans because they are different from them. Jews don't believe Jesus was the Messiah, so the KKK believe they're going to hell for that one thing alone. As for Blacks, they think because they're darker, it means they're "dirty" and are a taint and threat to the "pure white race" They believe they should all be slaves, killed, or sent back to Africa. You know why? Because Klansmen are a group of ignorant WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestant) supremacists who don't like anybody who doesn't fit the WASP quota. They're White so they hate Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. They are Christian, but they're Protestant so they also hate Catholics, Jews, Muslims, etc. But you can be all those things and still be hated by them. Say you were a White Protestant but you got along with all other races and religions; they might call you a N*gger-lover or something like that. They are just foolish people who WILL get what they deserve when they die. They believe that by burning crosses on lawns and marching and being the way they are is "doing the good Lord's work"...let's see what Jesus has to say about that. The devil's gonna get alot of company when they die.

They are a supremacist group who dislikes everything except white caucasian people, something like the arian race concept that Hitler so openly promoted. The KKK is a very powerful group of racist people who don´t like hispanics, jews, orientals, and mostly black people. Jesus was a jew, but remember that christianity was born with Him and hence came the division from the jews who didn´t think about him as the savior and the other jews which in turn became the new christians who believe that He really was the son of God.

No, via fact in case you worship Jesus (spelled with the two a J or a Y), you switched G-ds. Your god is a human sacrifice. Idolatry is a deal breaker in Judaism. the comparable section in Deuteronomy that announces do no longer worship statues or animals says do no longer worship human beings - ineffective or alive. Christianity is subsequently a separate faith. So the version is that Christians do renowned a non-Kosher messiah, no longer that we don't. factor of correction: there is not any "previous" testomony in Judiasm. there is Holy Scripture, the Torah, Prophets and Writings (Tanach). Christians have re-written and further to those Scriptures to slot their purposes, known because it previous and further a clean ex-cement with various slurs aimed in the direction of Jews. Their New Addition negates Torah. this would be a solid occasion of how "greater" isn't everywhere close to greater effective.

KKK members may claim to be Christians, but they are NOT. Christians do not practice hate. The KKK "adopted" the Confederate flag and tainted it with their evil, and they also taint the Christians and whites who do not hate just by being white and claiming Christianity.

KKK is a white supremacist group that feels whites are better than any other race. They make us whites (I am white and Southern and proud of it) look bad because it is human nature for others to stereotype.

Because the KKK doesn't recognize Jesus as a Jewish figure. They recognize him as the Messiah, who is inherently better than the Jewish people that crucified him.

Either way, Hitler was a very devout Christian so there's no accounting for taste.

Hate is rarely rational. Most of the anti-jewish sentiment in European history was held by people who considered themselves christian.

They are the biggest Hypocrites. They are also cowards. They use religion as a disguise to justify their hate.
