Frist of all clear your all temp files from c:/windows/temp then go to Internet explorer properties delete files from temporary Internet files you can delete your cookies but doing that you may be lost your some setting in web page which u use every day so try frist deleting temp files only and and if not shorted then delete cookies or in worst case may be it's a problem of RAM which you can short by adding extra memory unit

I have experienced something similar to what you described.
Normally, I'd press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" to activate the Task Manager, from there I would select the programs that are idle & not in use to be turned off.
It usually works. Another alternative would be to restart your PC.
Hope this helped.

usually your computer is over heating or you have too many things going on at one time. either buy a stronger replacement fan or shut off some things in your system tray. go to your start menu and look under startup. if there are too many things in there, delete the ones that you don't need or never use.

Just try re-installing your PC . . .
It's so nice to have it reinstall every year anyway . . . (",)
Make sure you backup 1st!
Or just make sure your clean on your startup file . . .
try running msconfig . . .
then make sure your startup files are all disabled . . .
Or try sending me an email so I can send you the steps on how to clean up your startup file . . .

reboot, keep "my documents" clean (saving in c or d drive is better), virus/spyware scan, and it should get better... unless you're just using an old operating system.
