Well the baby's daddy said he is goin'n 2 pay child sopport. Wut can I do?

Tell your parents. Make a decision what you want to do about having the child. The father of the child would have to pay child support whether he wanted to or not, but it's nice to know the boy is willingly going to pay.

You need to complete your education. And for heaven's sake, no more sex or at least practice safe sex! And have yourself tested for HIV/AIDS and STDs since you had unprotected sex.

Ok, there are some very important things you must do to be successful after this mistake:

Tell yourself the following:

A) I'm an idiot. I made a mistake, but I realise that I was very, very stupid. I won't make this mistake again.

B) I need to be able to take care of the child. If I can't, abortion or adoption is the only solution. You do not have a right to bring a child into this world if you're not able to care for it.

C) I need to talk to my parents. They'll be mad of course, but your parents always have your best interests at heart. If they give you a suggestion, you go ahead and do it. They know far more then you do.

D) I'll stop being a moron. Just for good measure. Mainly because you didn't get protection

E) I won't have sex until I've dated someone for 4 months. That's about 8-10 dates. People who are jsut interested in sex will have left by then, which is good for you.

F) I cannot control a man through sex. It's idiotic, so don't do it.

G) I have to realise that I'm 14 years old and I'm still a child. Yes you are a child. If you weren't, you wouldn't have done something so stupid and irresoponsible. And yes, people who are 30 can be children too. Adulthood isn't when you hit 18. It's when your IQ hits at least 90.

I first want you to find a crisis pregnancy center in your area...they can give you a lot of help for free...especially if you fill you can't talk to family about it. They will help explain a lot of the legal procedures that come with trying to get child support from the father of the baby. (I also want to point out that if the father is over 18 years old what he did is against the law) Also, I want you to know that you have a human living inside of you. Within weeks of pregnancy the baby has a heart beat and a nervous system, finger nails, toes...and even starts to develop a personality. The point is that the precious baby inside you is real and alive...don't have an abortion. You can live through this and so can this child. Learn from your mistake and be a good mom.

"well the babys daddy said he would pay child support"?!? Is this really the attitude of our youth? I assume he must be older than you since you have to be what at least 15 to even work and earn money to be paying child support with. You are still a child and are not ready to assume any responsibilities for yourself much less another human being. Abort or go through with it and give up for adoption.

Tell your parents. Even if you have to talk to a counselor, friend or pastor first. Have them go with you to talk to your parents. You are going to need their support no matter what you decide to do. You are going to have a long hard road in front of you if you decide to keep this baby. I had wanted a baby since I was your age. I thought it would be fun and when I finally had a baby at 22 I realized how hard it is to be a mom. Your life is no longer yours. You can't go out all the time. You have to stay home with the baby while everyone else is out doing things you can't. I love my children. I am really glad I didn't have them in my teenage years though. Child support is never enough. Babies are expensive. If you decide to keep this baby you are going to need assistance from the state, such as WIC and food stamps. Hi first of all get yourself a good lawyer and then sue the daddy for statutory rape and cjild support deductions for the upkeep of the child and you until the child reaches 18. Put a lein against all future earnings. You should do very well out of it..oh and dont talk about love, you may know about sex but love baby you really havent a clue so take the rapist for all he and his family have got.

I don't condone abortion, but in a circumstance like yours, I think it may be a good option. 14 is no age to raise a baby. We don't even let our 14 year old neighbor babysit our baby.
Adoption is another great alternative. There are lots of moms and dads out there wanting a baby of their own who can't have them.
