I think people ARE open to new ideas, if you find they are not, perhaps the idea you are presenting might need a second look. If you still think your idea is really good, then you might have a look at your presentation. I find that if people hear of a new idea that has some backing, most will take a look.

Some people are afraid of change.
Others act how they were treated before.
It is a breakdown of communication.
I believe everyone has a valid opinion/idea.

they dont like change or are scared of change, but break out of the ordinary and try something new!
