I can not believe people are saying that the South is being hit. The whole of FCUKING Lebanon is being targeted. I just hope no one ever mentions holocaust in relation to Jews ever again.

natex14, Give you a bit of an analogy, The Irish government couldn't stop the IRA arming either, but the UK did not bomb the **** out of Ireland. This went on for nearly 40 years. The Arabs are however brown skinned people so they are dispensible.

It's closer to 40% and Americans do not care about the killing of any brown people Xtian or not. Unless they can use the killings as some pretext to beat an enemy over the head with it.

Well so far Israel's only attacking the southern part of Lebanon, which is supposedly almost completely controlled by the Hezbollah. A very Islamic group that wants to remove all American influence and put the region in Islamic rule. I doubt the Christians are getting bombed.

Oh and ---What about the mass killings of the Israelis?? I know Christian Lebanese and?????The Lebanese have allowed Hezbollah to arm and train in their country. The Israelis are after Hezbollah. If the Lebanese got rid of them or at the least controlled them this would not be happening. There is too much sorrow on both sides in this conflict.

I'm not good with mass killings of anyone, or any group. The reason Israel feels it's OK, is because the Lebanon government hasn't stopped Hezbollah from arming, and hasn't stopped Iran and Syria from giving them money and more guns and missiles. Not sure if that is right, but that is there reason.

Christian, Muslim, Pagen, makes no difference. If you are concerned about this conflict solely on the basis of the religion of the participants, than you have no concept of the reasons for this conflict.
Global conflicts rarely arise solely as a result of religious beliefs. That one group or another uses religion as a reason for their actions is a gross misrepresentation of any religion they claim to represent.
When one country/government imposes their military will on another country, there will be reprisals. If a country evicts citizens from their homes, it has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with land/profit. If a country enacts a tax on people, even on the basis of religion, it is profit motivated.
Looking back through history, few conflict can be found which are solely religious in nature. More likely, it falls to land issues, with sovereignty coming in a distant second place.

Israel is aware of this. They are not targeting Christians, they aren't even targeting Lebanon as a whole. They are targeting Hezbolla, which Lebanon allows to run free in their country. The attacks on the govermnent are because the goverment employs a good handful of people in Hezbolla and because the goverment allows Hezbolla, a terroritst organization, to operate there.

Very aware of that. They are good people as are the Moslem Lebanese. We hate the thought of killing civilians, but do not understand why it is so easy for them to kill each other! The mass killings of Moslems are being done by Moslems! If the people would rise up and throw the killers out of their neighborhoods and cities, maybe this would stop!

Had they controlled Hezbollah there would not be a problem. BUT, as long as Hezbollah was only against Israel, they here OK. Christians don't care if Jews and Muslims kill each other. They don't like ether one of them.

And that is why it is so important to root those terrorist out of your community. There are Innocent Muslims caught up in this too. This responsibility is solely on the shoulders of the terrorist. They (Hezbollah) obviously could care less who gets killed.
