This is very important, I need to know if you aim at the sensor bar or TV while playing

You aim at the television, the bar is suppose to be in the above or below of the tv, so when you aim at the tv, the bar translates your movements to the tv.

qwerty truly has no idea what you are talking about does he? I have heard that the console will come with 2 sensors which go either side of the screen and you point it between them.
