I threw up every day with both my pregnancies, all the way until the day they were born! I felt better as the pregnancy progressed, but still puked.
Here are some things that helped:
Sea Bands -- those little accupressure wrist bands
Ginger Ale -- if you don't like it, don't drink it! Would coke work?
Not ever letting my stomach get completely empty
Nibbling oyster crackers
Staying cool -- find yourself some ac!
Good luck!

I had morning sickness for about 6 months into my pregnancy. I hated it i ended up dehydrated and had to have an iv to give me more fluids especially in the heat. Sometime i would feel sick twice a day. The heat could be even though i aint pregnant right now i still get the sick feeling cause of the heat. Try to get in a cool place and drink some ice water to cool your system, even take a cool bath and relax as much as possible to keep your body from overheating. If u feel it has gotten worse over the day i would call the doctor so u dont dehydrate because u are losing fluid when u get sick. hope i gave a few ideas to try.

I am pregnant with my third child right now and with all of them my morning sickness (read: all day sickness) lasts for about 5 months. It eases up after then but I'll have occassional or mild queasiness at different times up until delivery day.
I also tried every food and drink remedy known to woman. I also tried taking B6 (even before I became pregnant). One really obvious problem with food-related morning sickness remedies is that the food or drink quickly becomes associated with sickness and therefore loses its effectiveness. I quickly became violently turned off to crackers, peppermint tea, and anything with ginger in it!
Tried the sea bands and they didn't do anything. I think because it's hard to make the band stimulate that tiny spot right between those two tendons on your wrist. Because it was expensive I never tried the battery operated motion sickness bands but you might want to because I've heard they can pinpoint that spot better and also you can adjust the pressure.
Here's a different kind of remedy - didn't work for me, but studies show that it has worked for many others. It's called "Morning Well" and is SOUND therapy. You listen to a tape and the sound waves stimulate your inner ear which supposedly can reduce nausea.
Another thing I heard about but didn't try - many chemo patients smell fresh cut lemons and they say it eases nausea. Some drink lemon water or flat Sprite with lemon in it.
With my last two pregnancies I've also taken phenergen, but not always the 3 doses per day. I would take my first VERY early in the morning (like at 4 or 5 a.m.) so that when the sleepiness kicked in it would still be only 6 a.m. and my other children weren't awake. A couple of mornings they would catch me still in bed but quickly got used to the fact that mommy was going to be sick for a while and I did not feel guilty at all!
I would also take a phenergen sometimes right after lunch, that way I could nap while the children napped. I usually didn't take it before bedtime because I just didn't like the idea of pills three times a day. Besides, I was so tired anyway that I just wanted to sleep and once I was asleep the sickness was temporarily gone.
Children are very adaptable. I spend a lot of time on the couch when I'm pregnant and my toddlers just play around me, read books, etc. I've gotten them really interested in drawing and other activities that will keep them busy for long periods of time. And of course, as a last resort, there is always a cute little Kipper the Dog or Winnie the Pooh video to pop in. And when Daddy comes home in the evening he is my relief and savior!
If you are going to try the medication route, I would suggest phenergen first (because it's gentler and less expensive) and then maybe Zofran last.
Another medication tip: later on in my pregnancy, when the queasiness is only mild, I can take DRAMAMINE or its generic "morning sickness formula" which you can buy at Walmart for like 5 ducks. It really helped me for the MILD morning sickness after 5 months and it is even safer than phenergen. You'll have to get the regular dramamine and not the non-drowsy formula.
By the way, those lollipops that are supposed to help are called "Preggie Pops." I got a pack of the ginger ones early in pregnancy and they helped a TINY bit. Just something to lick and chew on when I could stand the thought of any food. But eventually, you have to eat....and it starts all over again.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know it's difficult - I'm just coming out of it myself and will be doing this again if the Lord blesses me with future children.

I thought mine gone but it tricked me. I am 4 months as well as still sick as a dog. But I have noticed that the heat has played a huge role in how I feel. Try to stay cool. I know it sounds nasty but if it does not get better have your Dr prescribe you suppositories to help with the nausea and vomiting. It should get better soon. I eat ice in the morning and that helps a little plus it gives me a little more then stomach fluids to throw up if that is what has to happen. I am sorry to hear that you are having a hard time and I hope that things get better for you.

Sorry but your morning sickness could last right until the day you deliver. That's what happened with me and my first child. I threw up the day I delivered and I had ALL day sickness not just morning!!! And there was nothing I could do about it.
If your sickness hits you first thing in the morning they suggest you get out of bed very slowly and have some crackers and water by your bed side. Eat the crackers even before you get out of bed.
Yes the heat can make you sick also.
I know if I get over heated I feel ill.
As for your other child, while your getting sick. You're just gonna have to let him know, mommy is not feeling well but it'll pass.

I have 3 kids and I was pregnant for the entire pregnancy with all 3 of them. You may find that sea sickness wrist bands may help , peppermint or ginger often help. I had to take phenegran but I only took it at night b/c it made me so sleepy that I couldn't function but at least that way I got some sleep at night rather than throwing up all night. Also doctors will prescribe Zofran which is a drug used by chemo patients which will help with nausea but without the sedative effect... unfortunatly it didn't help me.

I would check with your doctor. I have a friend who was totally fine with her first and sick the entire time with her second. Some chalk it up to different genders, but there really is no way to figure out why. If it's that hot and you are constantly throwing up you need to be careful you don't get dehydrated. Your doctor might be able to give you something to keep at least fluids down. It sounds a little silly but maybe try something like Pedialyte, it has less sugar than gatorade and it might help you get rehydrated which in turn might help you keep some food down.

I had this problem when I was pregnant. Try eating cheese or peanut butter before you even sit up in the morning. Make sure you drink enough. I had to go to the hospital a few times to get an IV. Hopefully yours will go away around 6 months. Your doc can give you meds for the nausea. Mine made me pass out, so it might not be any help. Good luck!

I'm a little over 13 weeks now and my morning sickness has came and went twice now. It's a pain, but it happens. Some women don't get sick at all during pregnancy and others are sick the full 9 months. They say once you get to about 14 weeks it starts to ease off, but dont expect it to, you may be one of the unlucky ones!

It could indeed be the heat - I'm right here with you - 4 months and still sick to my stomach - but I've only actually thrown up once! I drink lots of water and try to eat very small meals all day long.
It sounds like you have it SO much worse - and I worry that maybe you're not getting enough nutrients for you and your baby - so please call your doctor to keep them up to speed on what's happening. I know there are medicines they can prescribe to help you...
