Nah, stay in New York. It's not about the money either. I live in LA and it blows. Traffic is absolutely horrible. For instance, after you get done grinding organs, do you want to have to sit in a car for 2 hours in traffic to get home? Or, if you want to meet friends up at the organ grinding convention on a Saturday, does it not seem cruel that you would have to drive 40 miles to get there, stuck in traffic both ways? Yeah, stick to NY, man. LA is hell. Forget about grinding organs, this place will grind your soul. STAY AWAY.

Organ grinder....haven't heard that termology in a while...that's funny ! L.A. ....do you really want to put up with the gangs & smog ? Santa Barbara might work...good luck.
