I've had rabbits and cats co-existing in the same house for 7 years now. When we first got Jordan (a cat) he was about 6 months old and very curious of the rabbit (a dwarf) and would stick his paws throught the cage door. One day I left the rabbit's door open and Jordan walked in... Chris attacked Jordan and he hasn't bother Chris since.
I was told that cats don't usually prey on rabbits, it's the household dogs you have to worry about. Lucky for me I don't have to worry about any of it. My dogs love the rabbit and vice versa.

Nope. I've had cats and rabbits and I had to also keep them separate. Put the cats up when you let the rabbit out or you won't have a rabbit. They are natural prey.

It is dangerous, because the rabbit might be scared to death, even if the cats won't kill it. My cat would not let it live though. Saying this, my friend had a big rabbit who used to hump her cats and was basically stronger than them.

My daughter had both and they played all the time, Every now and then the rabbit being the bigger of the two , would jump on the cat and get hissed at and smacked but other then that they were friends..Guess it depends alot on your pets....Both are cute little buggers... Good Luck your friend in Tennessee ROB

No. Have you considered having just a rabbit room if you bunny-proof it? Even tho a month has passed the cats may just be waiting for you to leave them alone.

No- do not trust them. Cats are clever, they know he's unavailable in the cage. However outside of the cage with you gone is a different situation.
Definitely do not leave your cats and bunny alone together unsupervised.
