Actually, if you've ever watched the movie 'Inside Man', you'll understand what I mean. I actually came up with a plan similar to this several years ago. Basically, you simply lock down the bank and, well. Just watch the movie.

If I decided to rob a bank someday, I would go to the store and pick up the newspaper. I would look at the Classified ads and make some calls. I would dress professional for the interview and land a good job to make my money problems vanish!! :0)
Robbing a bank is a cool fantasy. It's also a good way to exercise your brain with different strategies, but in the end... all you'll get is an empty pocket and plenty of time in a tiny cell to think about the dumbest thing you've ever done! haha. Good one though.

No accomplices, they can't be trusted to keep their mouth shut or not spend the money foolishly or obviously.
I'd rob banks that serve farmers. They tend to be in the middle of nowhere. Then rob the bank on horseback so you can ride off through the rough terrain where the police cars who respond can't follow. And there is no easy identification on a horse that can be traced.
Case the bank first. Figure out the routine. Maybe even call in a false alarm to test the police response time. Get out fast. Getting out before the cops show up is the key.
And I find it interesting that you posted this as an "Investing" question.

Electronically. My accomplice would be a bank employee, the proceeds would largely go to charity.
Case the bank. Look for the LAN wiring. Find an open port and install a small wireless transmitter.
Sit out side and transfer the money to a Swiss or any offshore account.
Details are missing for obvious reasons. The ability and technology exist now. The opportunity is close.

Hmmm...not good to take what is not yours. My accomplice would be someone that would be willing to get arrested and shot, perhaps killed, just so they could perform an act of terrorism. Sorry...but think of how the people in banks feel when they are held hostage in a robbery. I work in the banking industry, and banks are robbed all the time...very scary.

Robbing banks are not popular these days. Identity theft is the way to go. You can steal money without any confrontation and it is much safer and most of the time, easier to do than a bank robbery.

Keep it simple:
Shot gun (easy to get hold of plus no ballistic evidence)
Fast bike for getaway
Balaclava
no accomplice (the less people that know the better)
Cha Ching in the money............if it was this simple we would all rob banks

I would use tweeties plan go in yelling money changers and flipping tables over then escape by running on the tops of rocks that are just under the surface of the water in a lake.
