How can anyone who hasn't met Barry Bonds really hate him? It is one thing to hate what he has done or to hate the way he may act, but to actually hate him, the person? I find that very hard to do. Unless you have walked in his shoes, it is hard to be a hata.
I don't always agree with the way he has handled his career and his need to be the best, even if it takes cheating to get there. That, I suppose is something to really dislike. Nobody likes a cheater, especially one that we all clap for and hail as the best at something and then get slapped in the face for how he did his great feats. This betrayal of the great fans of baseball, I do hate.
Barry Bonds the person... I'd like to get to know him before passing judgement.

ME. I think he is a total and complete cheater.I hope the lying B*ST*RD goes to jail for lying to the Grand Jury.If you don't think that he's a Liar and a Cheat then you must have 360 degree blinders on!!!,Or A Disillusioned Giants fan.And if you were a Giants fan and liked him,Why would you?He's a fake and a phoney,his accomplishments mean nothing because they were drug induced.If he or anyone like him were on my favorite team I would feel the same way.His actions are WRONG in the eyes of TRUE Baseball fans.

hate is a strong word, but I wouldn't mind watching him tell some kid he's not signing any autographs for him and then turn around and get hit by a car and has to be taken care of for the rest of his life see how long they take care of him when he can't do anything for them

I don't hate his guts but i hate him enough to where if he hit a career record home run i'd throw the ball back or sell it to some one else.

its not that i hate him, its that hes over-paid and all that money he gets should go to some organization more important than making sure your best players are getting paid enough
