Assuming you are old enough....yes. Maybe doing something different like playing pool, paintball, bowling or something. Movies and dinner are okay but you spend the entire movie being quiet and not getting to know each other. You spend dinner trying not to let the food fall from your mouth the whole time.

I have a guy friend that has asked me out before(he's 19 im 16),but for some damn reason my parents have the 2 year rule,they say I can date a guy within 2 years of my age but they just say that to make me happy for a while(they won't let me date or go out with friends at all).I found that out the hard way because my parents said he could come over then they changed their mind after I asked him to come over.So make sure your parents aren't like that either.I think it might be a good idea to aske him,unless you are good friends,that might ruin your friendship.That happened to me and the day I asked him out he would not even look at me(he asked me out first but I said no,so I don't understand,but oh well).If he is your friend maybe just give little hints here and there that you like him,or let him ask you out first.Do you think he likes you?You should definatly ask him out or you will never know what might have happened.Good luck!

I say sure...go for it. I am married to a guy that is three years older than me. Everything has worked out perfect for us. Sometimes girls like dating guys older than them for security reasons.

If you like him, you should totally ask him out, but be prepared if he says no at first because you're a bit younger, if your attitude is well, whatever then he'll double think his answer and most likely come back and ask you out.

no. You should never ask a boy out, even if he's your age. Boys should ask you out. If they don't, they're not interested.
