Usinng the term White Trash is no different than calling some any other term for other ethnic or racial groups. People throw the words around and don't consider this.
I see people on TV everyday saying it. They would be horrified if someone said N***** or called a homosexual a F**. They won't admit just how bigoted they are being.

The term "white trash" is racist in its origins.

It comes from a time when whites considered all blacks to be trash. Referring to someone as "trash," would have implied they were black. So people added the adjective "white" to differentiate between the two.

White trash is people who don't know how to live like normal people. They curse, yell, are loudmouths, they don't respect anyone includeing themselves.

Um..about $25,000 a year..and a decent education. Although some WT have great horse sense..so that helps a great deal.

Some of the nicest folks ive ever met might of been considered WT...I would take it as a compliment should I ever be accused of such.
