I think that if he keeps up what hes doing right now he will....there are a lot of similarities in their carrers right now...Jame is a scoring and dunking machine, and so was Jordan...James went to a team that had mediocre seasons at best and so did Jordan.

Now all James has to do is turn the team around, win the NBA title a few times and there will be no doubt that he will be considered as good, maybe even better then MJ

io dun think so ....mike was feared offensively and defensively....players hated feared n respected him and yet evrybody still loved him for it....mj had the crazy kill mentality kind of like kobe...except he would never call it quits in a game...plus even ppl who dun watch bball know how mj was...**** my 100 year granma from da old country knows who mj is....when lebron wins 6 championships a 37 pointppg season and has multiple all nba defense and offense then we can talk....but untill then i dun assume anything....u cant call a guy da best jsut on potential and assumption alone...lebonr jsut isnt a proven winner yet...he hasnt done anything except have stats...and thier not even lol jordan task...as i recall jordan had a 37 point season with 8 assist 8 rebounds 200 blocks and 200 steals...the only person who could prob do dat is d wade since he also plays d an is the leading shot blockin guard and 6ht in steals.

I don't think so.

Think about it... MJ defined the game. MJ is the game of basketball...

Michael Jordan = Basketball

LeBron is good... but completely different. He's more of a Karl Malone type of player. He's just as likely to give up the ball as he is to shoot it... everyone gave the ball to Michael just to see far he could fly with it. They wanted to see the magic...

Mike has 6 championships ... and except for this past season, LeBron hasn't even come close. Get him to win 1 and then talk about him as a legend...

If he wins 6 (and Jordan should have won 8 or 9 be it not for two premature retirements) and has a story book career--you know, winning shots and follow throughs in his last game, a city that worships you like a god and opposing crowds who cheer for you-- then he might be close.
Yeah right. There will only ever be one number 23.

THIS GUY MAY BE CONSIDERED BETTER THAN MJ! HE IS AN AMAZING PLAYER WITH A TON OF SKILLS. THE ONLY THING THAT STANDS BETWEEN THE TWO RIGHT NOW ARE ABOUT 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Lebron will mean more to basketball when he retires except he has to share the spotlight with kobe, dwade, tmac, and iverson. And i doubt he will win 6 championships.

Of course not. He'll be better than MJ.

no, lebron is really good but he lacks defence. i dont think anyone be as good as MJ in his prime, probably only kobe.

Maybe better if he stays healthy and also he has to win a couple of championships as well.
