would you be willing to give up your life and all your worldly possessions in exchange for lasting peace in the middle east?.. ...to save the lives and cultures of so called 'strangers' to you?

If you want peace in the Middle East you don't have to give up anything, just make your own life more peaceful.

All earth is a single energy system so what we create here in our hearts and homes can be felt in homes and hearts in far across the world. And vice versa.

Though you can add the Middle East to your prayers. Make sure you remain at peace yourself as that is the best way to help the people living in the Middle east.

I would be willing to give my life in a fight against someone, and I have no need for wordly possessions, but I would not be willing to give up my country and my country's culture for another culture to benefit. If you're suggesting that we live in submission so that another country might live in peace, that would be a catch 22, wouldn't it. Peace at any cost isn't feasable. Blood must be shed for peace. It's unfortunately the only way man can function. But I would gladly die to see another group of people live in the freedoms that I have for so long. The "strangers" are not really strangers at all. I may not know them personally, but we know them as a nation, we are only here because of Isreal, and because of those who died to create freedom for others. What's the difference between someone who died for people he didn't know who lived on the same land, and someone who dies for people he doesn't know on a different land? Oppression must be destroyed. Unfortunately, I feel there's no chance of that ever happening. But we must not give up!

First, there are no strangers, just friends waiting to happen.
Second, there are no enemies, just friends who've forgotten eachother momentarily.
Third, i would readily give my life up to save the meagrest person in any part of the world-to live in exchange for someone else's death i would cease to be what i am and death would be less a burden.
Fourth, Death is only a doorway and all that i would be loosing is the pride that i achieved this great end.
And Finally-fifth.
I will give us a greater task. HArder than what you ask. It is difficult to die for a cause but who will truly LIVE for one, who will give their ALL to see the world uplifted from suffering. To wipe a single tear from a childs face who suffers is worth more prostrations to Buddha, more prayers to God, more hyms in synagogues or temples in all the world all through time. Simple acts of kindness echo across the ages and will always be the greatest form of giving. Would any of you, any at all, live for this good end?

No. As long as there are humans, there will never be peace. We as humans are incapable of leaving something alone. There could be a period of peace, but eventually someone would say it's too peaceful and start something. That is why we are not living in a perfect world. We ruined it from the start and are not capable of living in peace with one another.

No. I would give my life if all human race would be swept away from earth, including myself. Then the earth would survive. The peace in near east wouldnt last for long any way.
