If virgo's are born under the planet mercury and the planet mercury possesses serious powers of thought and speech then why do i have a stutter?......I am a Virgo.

You entire chart would have to be interpreted for afflictions (negative aspects like oppositions, squares, inconjuncts etc) to your Mercury, the planet that rules speech, the mouth and tongue, which is also the ruler of Virgo, your sun sign.
Health is also governed by the The Ascendant (the first house cusp), the first house and the sixth house, so those would need delineated as well. The 3rd house rules communications (speech), so it needs to be assessed also.

You do realize anything that is governed by something in astrology also has the potential to be negitively aspected.
Example- Virgos can either be OVERLY neat, or Very sloppy
Over the top particular about cirtain things, and completely careless about others!
Virgo rules the stomach and digestive tract, the hands- but these are usually the weak points of a Virgo also. Your sign can instensify traits- but not ness. in a positive way- understand?
Basically, the reason you have a stutter has got to be BECAUSE you are a Virgo! The trait is a strong trait- but it depends on a lot of other things, and it may not always be a positive one!
I am Virgo- have tummy probs. Have a LOT of Taurus in my charts (Taurus Rising, more.) Taurus rules the throte, voice and sinus areas. I have sinus probs randomly, not allergic to anything, no allergies. Also I have a very girly voice, a common trait of Taurus' is a charictaristic voice, esp. in females because of Venus' rule over this sign.
My Hubby also Virgo- Carpal Tunnel in his hands and Severe Tummy Probs. Has a lot of Libra in his charts- (libra moon and Murc, Mars, Jupiter, More) and Libra rules the heart. He was born with a heart problem!

You probably have the planet mercury afflicted in your chart. Meaning it is probably making a bad aspect to another planet from a certain house like the 3rd house. You would need to get your chart cast to know for sure.

Sometime a Virgo have get use to it environment in order to preform speech well. I'm Virgo myself and took me time to get use to preforming in front of other.

i m a virgo myself..but it how you speak and it matters who your speaking to ..like me when i m talking to my uncle..who is very strict and so on i get nervous and sometimes start stuttering i dont know why but yea..it happens sometimes..but wit everyone else i m a person who wont shut up..lol..
