Who knows? Maybe to have completely anonymous sex....no strings attached, no emotional ties. Maybe to try it with a professional. Maybe to try things that you would be too embarrassed to try with someone with whom you are emotional intimate.
If I wasn't married and went somewhere it was legal, the men were clean and damned handsome and the prices reasonable, then sure. Why the hell not?

Because some people look at sex like it is an object that can be bought. And they are probably unaware of the risk factors when buryng this "product". Society today does not look at sex as a thing that should me given between couples as a sign of love anymore. Instead society looks at sex like a pleasure that can be bought and sold. The only i really have to say is "How sad".

Most men will tell you that they pay for sex even if they do not go to a prostitute. If you take a woman out for dinner,drinks,movie with the expectation of sex later on. Are you not paying for it,indirectly?

I heard a pimp on some show say that "You don't pay a hooker for sex, you pay them to GO AWAY" and I think that's pretty much it. People that pay for sex want sexual gratification without any of the hangups that come with relationships.

Why? Because 1) They have the money for it, 2) they are horny, and 3) It's being offered.
Would I? Not in the sense you are talking about. But I certainly "paid for" having sex with my last girlfriend...(don't ask!)
