nothing that excuses zidan'e actions. lets not forget... actions speak louder than words. obviously that's something zidane's mother forgot to teach him which is not surprising since she commented about wanting materrazi's "balls on a plate". That's a civil statement to make in public. Materazzi was out of line for insulting a player on the soccer field though... does this make sense to anyone? How ridiculous.

Different medias say he said something, another thinks he said something else. Zidane says he said something, and Materazzi says he never said that, it was something else.

Who is feeding us with cr@p?? Nobody knows, and probably will never know..

but Zidane didn't have to react like the idiot he is. REMEMBER.. ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE HEADBUTTTEEDD!!!
