A friends is someone that you like and trust. A friend is a person who you enjoy spending time with. A friend helps you in your times of need and celebrates with you during good times.
A good marriage is based on friendship plus a little something extra (attraction, deep abiding love). Friendship is not the only thing that a marriage needs, but it's a great foundation for one.

if there is good understanding between two friends & they r in love they r good 4 the marriage.

Friendship is a person who loves you and who will stand by you for who you are: not what you have or can do for them. I thinks friends are essential to a marriage at they challenge you to be yourself, love who you are and only ask your spouse to love you for who you are also.

my personal definition of marriage is agreeing to spend your life time with a partner. in sickness. wealth. poverty. blaaaaaa .this person must be your friend// in fact many people don't get married because they get bored easily with people.so for one to decide on marrying a particular person. i feel the person should be a friend.
