Honey, don't worry too much about it. You don't seem to be happy at your present workplace; I suggest you find a new job and start afresh with new work mates.

depends on your personality, do you get on with people you work with? do these people consider you to be below them? do you just have a quiet voice? and if this is so then either keep reitterating what you are saying or try to be a little louder. other than that start throwing cups or tip the water cooler over, you will certainly get noticed then, and probably a warning too....... sorry not constructive

Because some people are idiots and dont think about how they'd feel if it happened to them. Also jealousy comes into play, maybe they do notice you, but instead of chatting to you they ignore you completely. Or maybe its all in your mind, and the more you go over it...you turn your molehill into a mountain!!!!

people act like this because you probably don't have a dominate personality. You need to make yourself heard and stand up for yourself. Don't let then talk over you, if they ignore you say "hey listen to me". If you just get in on the conversations and start showing them that you are there, they might come around. Don't let them make fun of you, but if they do, don't let it bother you, just come back at them with something.

There is nothing wrong with working for someone but please don't focus on staying in that position forever. Mind your own business(read the book and you'll see what I mean) Soon enough people will listen to you, or you will tailor other peoples words to your advantage. Being a person of little words, and alot of knowledge is the epitomy of wisdom.

It could be a number of things from the list below:

Don't like you
Jealous your better than them
They are getting on with work
If your job position is lower than theirs
If your job position is higher than theirs

To be honest ignore them. Why should you make an effort if they are not.
Hope that helps.

maybe you're being too passive at work, try to start up a new conversation with someone using words like "how" to start the coonversation so they have to say more than one word to answer you. hope it helps!

They have got into the habit - you need to remind them that you are there, and that they are being rude. Butt in frquently [hard to do I know] until they get the message.

Say something like, "would you kindly take your conversation elsewhere?" That is the height of rudeness.
