Bandits and pirates exist.
According to a B.B.C. documentary named,I believe, Power of the Nightmare, Al Queda does not really exist as a terrorist entity in and of itself. Apparently it fosters terrorism and it was named by terrorists in Afghanistan. But no one has found them because, it is said, they are a very small group.
This documentary wan the British Oscar award for documentaries. Should look fir it to be broadcast in the U.S. That is, if they allow it.
Now the vitriol can be unleashed.

Bandits are people who steal on land. Pirates are people who steal on the water. Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization intent on exterminating all non-Muslims.
