Whenever I walk down the street, or am in a store, or on a train, most, yes most, of these ladies are really screaming at their kids, and teaching them nothing of value.
I am not talking about other races, here. Try not to view this as racist just because I have singled out blacks. That is unintelligent and short-sighted. Just try to to see what I am talking about and answer the question. If you just want to throw generalizations at me, then please refrain.

That's probably what their mother taught them.
Either that, or they had kids way before they were ready. I think every race does this, it's just that black women are a little more loud about it. That's all.

Um... your other question talks about messing with infants, so I wouldn't exactly judge other people you know. All the black people I know LOVE their kids, and my family is very loving. Most of the ones you see were probably too young to have children and don't know what to do... And I'm sorry, but where I'm from, I mostly see white mothers doing that. I'm am not unintelligent, just letting you know what I see. So I think it has to do with what area you live in. But, yes, it is very racist and rude to put black people on the spot, when it has more to do with age and location....

I'm a Black woman and that question doesnt offend me. Well, culturally,--black people tend to think that white people dont discipline their kids enough. For example, if you ever watch that show Supernanny--you see white kids hitting and yelling at their parents and refusing to obey them. And, all the white parent will do is say calmly"sit down Johnny" -while the kids is still acting crazy..Well, in the black culture--that stuff doesnt happen in our homes. Culturally, we do believe in spanking and not tolerating outright disrepect from our kids. Its a black thing. I mean, I was whipped and spanked as a child--and I'm a college grad with a sucessful career--never used drugs, dont drink, and I adore my mother. But the kids I know whose parents didnt discipline them-ended up on drugs acting wild.
Peace, hope I helped

Generally speaking, poor upbringings beget more poor upbringings.
The African American nuclear family is almost non existent in this country. Young black men, impregnate young black women and then leave to repeat the cycle with another. There's no continuity, no morals, ethics or standards being provided to these children and in many cases the "mothers" are little more than children themselves.
Boiling it down to the lowest common denominator, they just don't know any better.

As a well behaved white boy, I see that black kids are much better behaved (while their still small) than the average white kid.
It's another story when black kids become teenagers.
