Depending on your cylce, you might be able to GET pregnant a week after your period.

Generally speaking, if your cycle is about 28 days, a week after your period is prime ovulation phase ie your most fertile time. Unless you are in a stable relationship that can withstand the consequences and know your partner has tested clean for STI's, you should however be using condoms in which case you should not get pregnant. Agree with others that you don't "fall" pregnant - you choose to have unprotected sex then you need to be ready ofr babies and diseases!

Everyone out there is so bloody smart aren't they? 'Falling' pregnant is a colloquial term for 'getting' pregnant in some parts of the UK. The girl wasn't asking you to comment on the terminology of the question for gods sake. Anyway, yes you can get pregnant anytime as you can ovulate more or less any time but most women have a regular day in the cycle that they ovulate.

you can get pregnant at any time - the only fool proof way is to not have sex.

someone i know got pregnant while on their period - but there is a best time to get pregnant - 14 days after your period

the only way to know for sure is to wait until your period comes - or take a test when it is due

hope you get the answer you want

When you get your period for the first time, every day until you're around 45 and except the time when you're already pregnant, you can become pregnant. I would really like if all of you girls and women would at least try to remember it.

Yes you can. While the second phase of your cycle, the time between when you ovulate and when you menstruate generally stays the same from cycle to cycle, the first phase of your period, the time between when you menstruate and you ovulate, can change. The first time I got pregnant was 8 days after my period, my first phase was just short that month.

Yes you can. All women do not ovulate 14 days before and 14 days after their period. When you ovulate depends on how long your cycle is... For example: if a woman's cycle is 40 days long, then she is more likely to ovulate around day 20.

YES. U usually ovulate half way through the cycle, day 14, but semen can live in your body for 7 days, so day 7 after your period is pushing it!
