Well I've been using this solution for my contacts for 6 years and I'm really worried about it. I notices that my left eye has a small yellow spot and sometimes feel itchy.... not always..

I assume you mean the renu solution. There was a problem with their moistureloc solution where the film that coated the lenses and kep them moist also could trap bacteria underneath and let them survive the disinfectants. The other renu solutions are safe. A yellow spot could be caused by many things, uv light, high cholesterol, wind, etc...itchy eyes is usually a sign of eye allergies. Without being able to actually examine your eyes - we cannot diagnose you but if you are worried go see your optometrist. Good luck

It might, there was a callback on a certain brand because it was causing some kind of eye disease. You should definitley visit your optometrist and get it checked out. Be sure to mention to them that you used Renu. Also, just to be safe, switch solutions. Opti-free is excellent.
