I think it is completely fake. It's just another reason for Bush to raise gas prices in the U.S. Everyone knows that sweltering weather makes gas prices go up, so Bush and his administration (and the media) are making us think that it is hotter outside than it really is. IT's FAKE. FALSE.

How can it not be real? Just go outside. If you mean the heat wave because of global warming that would make a bit more sense. You can't fake a heat wave

The heat wave is real. It has been in the high 90s all month here in Georgia with heat indicies in the low 100s. The humidity is really high and we could really use some rain here to at least cool us off but as long as there's that high over Bermuda, there's no chance of any rain here which means more heat and humidity.

Um, it has been bloody hot the past like 4 days so I definitely think the heat wave is real.

This "heat wave" is not made up. In fact, it seems to happen every year. We even have a name for it--its called "summer" and it lasts for three or four months a year. People just seem to forget that it usually means it is hot at this time of year, just as they forget that cold snap called "winter."

I think that we are under attack. Domestic terrorists have turned on dozens of turbo-heaters and a couple of blast furnaces. Where are the FBI informants on this one? Sitting comfortably in an air-conditioned room, I'll wager.

Today I have to say it is hot, but then it has been hotter here in DC. So if people are making it up, they doing one heck of a good job at it.
