Sounds like acid refluxe my daughter experiences this,she must stay away from citric drinks and real spicey foods.The doctor also recommended prilosec to help.It has worked no more nasty burps as she calls them.Good luck God bless:O)

Maybe you need to go to the doctor's and get something prescribed. You may have a bad case of acid reflux or something related. That's not a good thing if your burping all the time and it smells. Something is not right with that. It's definitely got something to do with Gas, but you need to talk with a doctor. I'm sure your girlfriend doesn't want to sit around and smell your burps and your farts all the time. There is only so much a person will take after a while. Get yourself checked out, and i'm sure you can get the help you need if you do so.
