I take that back , i wish you were all dropped in a hellish distant warzone and the only people you had to rely on to save you empty , cowardly lives were the very soldiers that youve spat upon , turned you backs on , protested against , and labled "baby killers"

I am not a tree hugging whale kissing hippy nor am I a lefty pacifist I am a right wing pro life pro death penalty republican. That said I realize that there needs to be a balance of lefties and righties or life would be hell for everyone. I don't believe that the sissy hippies hate America in fact I believe they love what America could be and hate the direction it is going. They do not blame the soldiers for this but the government. Being a proud American believer in capital punishment I think the soldiers that are over there committing crimes should be punished to the full power of the Iraqi Gov. the soldiers are representing Me over there and I don't want to be viewed as a rapist. I think you are probably too immature to fully comprehend what is happening to our gov. and our reputation as a nation but hopefully you are smart enough to just stop talking and start listening.

I am an original 60's "Flower Child".
I never spat on a soldier. But I was at my best friend's brother's funeral, when he got sent home in a box from Viet Nam. We were too young to understand, then, we could only hold one another in shock, and watch her mother cry.
I've never turned my back on a soldier. My Dad fought in WWII, and begged my brothers to go to Canada to avoid the draft.
I never labeled any soldier as a baby killer. But I weep when I see the bodies of children mangled in war.
You would call me a "hippie". I and will wish peace for you and for everyone you love.
May you never have to bury your friend killed in action, may you never have to wonder about your son fighting in a strange land in a war he doesn't really understand, and, above all, may you never have to look upon the body of your baby, mangled beyond recognition in a bloody attack the child had nothing to do with....
